Gardaí arrest man in connection with teen's death in Dundalk

A man in his thirties has been arrested in connection with the murder of Niall Dorr.

The 18-year-old died in hospital a day after he was attacked while walking along Castle Road in Dundalk, Co Louth last October.

Gardaí investigating the attack searched a house in the Knockbridge area of the town just after 8am this morning and arrested a man in his thirties.

He is now being questioned at Dundalk Garda Station under section four of the Offences against the State Act.
