One person has been killed and four others are seriously injured following a two-car collision in Co Cork today.

One person has been killed and four others are seriously injured following a two-car collision in Co Cork today.

The accident happened on the Clonakilty to Rosscarbery road at around 11am this morning.

Ambulances and emergency services are at the scene.

The injured people are being rushed to Cork University Hospital.

Gardaí are investigating.
