Gardaí arrest man in connection with Dublin shooting

Gardaí investigating a shooting in Dublin yesterday that left a man injured have arrested a man in connection with the incident.

The man was injured when he was shot in the back at Milltown Bridge Road in Milltown at around 6.30pm yesterday evening.

A 19-year-old man was arrested this morning and is being detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act at Terenure Garda Station.

Gardaí in Rathmines are renewing their appeal for information about the shooting.
