A 17-year-old boy, who allegedly shot at two men with an “improvised firearm” during Dublin's Smithfield horse fair last month, was further remanded in custody today.

The boy, who cannot be identified because he is a juvenile, had been charged last week at the Dublin Children's Court, also located in Smithfield, with violent disorder and unlawful possession of an “improvised firearm” in connection with the incident on March 6 last.
