McCarthy funeral in Clare today

Friends and family of Deirdre McCarthy will gather today for her funeral in Co Clare.

The 43-year-old was found dead on Fanore strand last week, three days after she went missing from her home in Ballyvaughan.

Gardaí believe she died violently.

Deirdre's funeral Mass will be held at St John the Baptist Church in Ballyvaughan.
