Three to appear in court over Smithfield incident
Three men who were arrested at Smithfield horse market in Dublin yesterday, are expected to appear in court this week.
They have been charged with public order offences and the attempted theft of a horse.
All three were charged and released yesterday.
Gardaà were in attendance at the fair yesterday following violent incidents at the event last month during which two men were shot and one was attacked with a slash-hook.
The Lord Mayor of Dublin and the Minister for Enterprise, Jobs and Innovation have both said they are investigating how to go about shutting the fair down.
