Garda Ombudsman probes crash of two patrol cars in Cork city

The Garda Ombudsman has launched an investigation after two patrol cars collided in Cork.

All of the four Gardai injured in the incident are thought to have been discharged from hospital.

The incident occured on a stretch of the South Link Road in Cork city in the early hours of this morning.

All were taken to Cork University Hospital to be treated for non life threatening injuries.
