A PSNI officer is believed to have lost his life following a car bomb attack outside his home in Omagh this afternoon.

A PSNI officer is believed to have lost his life following a car bomb attack outside his home in Omagh, Co Tyrone this afternoon.

The device exploded under the vehicle in Highfield Close, off the Gortin Road, just before 4pm.
