Search continues for missing fishermen after vessel found

A search is continuing off the north Dublin coast for two local fishermen who have been missing since yesterday evening. Their vessel has been found, and is being towed into harbour.

The alarm was raised when the two men - named locally at 41-year-old David Gilsenen and 26-year-old Ronan Brown - failed to return to port in Skerries.

Both are believed to be from the Skerries area.

Spokesperson for the Skerries RNLI, Mary Courtney said the men's fishing vessel was found five miles south-southeast of Clara Head.

People from the local community are gathering at Skerries Harbour to offer support to the men's families.
