Authorities to attempt to refloat ship off Galway coast

Efforts will be made this morning to refloat a cargo ship which ran aground off the Galway coast.

The 7 tonne vessel got into difficulty near Rossaveal Harbour early yesterday morning, when strong winds dragged it on to rocks.

None of the 16 crew on board were injured and so far, there is no sign of environmental damage.
