A 20-year-old Limerick man has been jailed for life after being found guilty of murdering a young man who “was in the wrong place at the wrong time” in December 2009.

A jury unanimously convicted Kenneth Collopy of the murder of Daniel Fitzgerald at Ballysimon in Limerick, following just over two hours of deliberations at the Central Criminal Court today.
