Youth set for court appearance in connection with Smithfield incident

One person is to appear in court later charged in connection with an incident at Smithfield horse fair in Dublin earlier this month.

The juvenile male was detained in Dundalk, Co. Louth on Sunday morning and is due to appear in court at 10.30am.

Shots were fired and a number of people were seriously injured during the horse fair in Dublin on the March 6.
