The prosecution has finished calling evidence in the trial of a 20-year-old Limerick man accused of shooting dead a carpenter.

Kenneth Collopy - of Kilonan, Ballysimon - has denied murdering 25-year-old Daniel Fitzgerald, who was shot as he left his uncle's home after paying the family a visit, on the evening of December 8, 2009.

Closing speeches by the prosecution and defence will be heard on Monday.
