Man critically injured in Limerick road accident

A man has been critically injured in a car crash in Co Limerick.

The crash between a truck and van happened on the N20 near Rockhill Cross shortly after 6.30am this morning.

The injured man has been taken to the Mid Western Regional Hospital in Limerick city.

Diversions have been put in place and gardaí say the road is likely to to remain closed for several hours.
