More than €1bn paid out by HSE in staff overtime

Details released to the Irish Examiner under the Freedom of Information act show more than € 1bn has been spent on overtime since the HSE was established.

One of the worst affected facilities covered in the report is Cork University Hospital, where the overtime bill has hit €87m since 2005.
