Consortium provide proposals to Government for economic recovery

A group of public figures and business people have given the Government a list of proposals which they believe will put Ireland's economy back on the right track.

Entitled 'A Blueprint for Ireland's Recovery', the document addresses a number of areas including job creation, reform of the public sector, and Ireland's image abroad.

The 17 members of the group include John Bruton, Ray MacSharry, Dermot Desmond, Angela Kerins from the Rehab Group, businessmen Denis O'Brien and Sean O'Driscoll.
