Accidents close two roads in Dublin and Roscommon

The N4 Sligo to Dublin Road is closed this morning from Cootehall to the Croghan Road Junction following a serious crash in the area.

Motorists are being advised that diversions are in place eastbound via Knockvicar.

HGVs should divert via Knockvicar onto Leitrim village while westbound traffic can travel via Croghan and Boyle.

Meanwhile, the N81 Tallaght Bypass is closed from the Greenhills Road to the Glenview Roundabout inbound due to a serious collision.

Diversions are also in place there.
