Waterford teenager renewed relationship with accused, ten months after rape allegations

A Waterford teenager has told a jury that she got back with her ex-boyfriend ten months after she claimed he raped her but denied that the renewed relationship was sexual.

The complainant admitted that she attended a friend’s birthday party the night after the alleged incident but denied that she wore the accused’s hoodie to the gathering and further denied that she had spoken “amorously” about him with her friends.
