Jobs at risk at Kerry plant

A total of 101 jobs at a plant in Castleisland, Co Kerry are at risk.

Aetna is one of the world's largest health benefit companies and has been in the town for more than 20 years.

Yesterday, staff were told that a review of operations there has begun.

It coincided with Aetna's decision to cut 200 jobs worldwide at plants in Dubai, Hong Kong, China and the US.

The company has decided to outsource customer service and claims roles as well as back office positions.
