Gardaí renew appeal for help in tracing missing Mayo woman

Gardaí in Ballina are renewing their appeal for information regarding the disappearance of a 29-year-old woman who has been missing for more than 10 years.

Sandra Collins was last seen at a takeaway in Killala in Co Mayo at 11.15pm on December 4, 2000.

As a result of recent public appeals, a number of new witnesses have come forward.

Gardaí now believe that a white van was in Killala around the time Sandra was last seen and are now seeking the assistance of the public in identifying this van.

Anybody who may have seen or have information in relation to a white van in Killala on Monday night, December 4, 2000 should now come forward and make contact with investigating gardaí.
