Dublin Book Festival starts today

Today is the first day of the fourth Dublin Book Festival with more than 80 Irish authors, poets and journalists set to take part.

Today is the first day of the fourth Dublin Book Festival with more than 80 Irish authors, poets and journalists set to take part.

More than 40 events will include readings, debates, workshops and performances.

Julianne Mooney, Programme Director for the Dublin Book Festival describes said the events , to be held over the course of the five days, will include talks on setting up a new business with 'Dragon's Den' Investor Bobby Kerr, seminars on writing for young adults and a public discussion hosted by Ryan Tubridy on Ireland learning from its history.
