Psychological Society offers top 40 tips for dealing with modern life
The Psychological Society of Ireland has today launched its top 40 tips for mental health, well-being and prosperity.
The PSI compiled the practical tips as part of the celebrations of the Society’s 40th anniversary.
The organisation said that the tips can be applied to all areas of life - from everyday routine to the challenges and problems that are faced by everyone.
Each guideline is supported by at least one research finding that confirms that the tip can be helpful.
The PSI aimed to make the tips practical and, where possible, to make them action-based, giving people things that they can do to improve their mental well-being through interesting, challenging or even the most ordinary times.
"These 40 tips offer sound practical and evidence based suggestions for the fundamentals of life (the basics), purposeful daily routines and spirited suggestions for surviving the tough times," said PSI President, Mary Morrissey.
"We are pleased to offer them to the public and hope people find them of benefit in these changing times."
