Woman dies in Limerick crash

A woman has been killed in a road crash in Co Limerick.

The pedestrian in her 50s died after she was knocked down near the village of Broadford at around 8pm.

The scene has been sealed off for a forensic examination.

Meanwhile, a 22-year-old man has died following a road crash in Co Cavan overnight.

He was the driver of a car which crashed at Corascashel, Dowra sometime between 1.30am and 9.30am this morning
