SF's O'Caoláin asks for investigation into voting irregularities
Sinn Féin's Caoimghin O'Caoláin has asked that the returning officer in Cavan/Monaghan investigate some voting irregularities.
The first count has still not been completed there.
Deputy O'Caoláin has said a "disproportionately high number" of the unfranked votes, that is votes that were not stamped properly, were first preferences for Sinn Féin.
