FF's Carey: 'No shame in losing'

Outgoing Minister Pat Carey has said there is "no shame in losing" as he fights to retain his seat for Fianna Fáil in Dublin North West, and says the party must now review its role in the 21st century.

"There are winners and losers…Today, Fianna Fáil is among the losers, but we have an opportunity now as we go into Opposition to work out exactly what our position is in the political spectrum going into the future, what is the role of a modern republican party in the 21st century."
