The Board of National Asset Management Agency has announced this morning that the agency will repay €250m of NAMA bonds in the coming weeks.

This is just one of three announcements being made by NAMA this morning as it approaches the first anniversary of achieving EU approval.

It has also announced the repayment of a €49m loan to the Finance Minister and the recovery of the acquisition price plus working capital advanced through the sale of Montevetro on Barrow Street in Dublin to Google.

Chairman Frank Daly said the developments demonstrate how effect NAMA is.
