Police in the North are appealing for witnesses to a road crash in Co Derry yesterday.

Twenty-two-year-old Ronald Moore from Limavaddy died when the silver Vauxhall Insignia he was travelling in crashed in the Bishops Road area at around 3pm.

Three teenagers who were also in the car were injured, but not seriously.

No other vehicles were involved.

Police have appealed for witnesses and are keen to speak to the driver of a grey Volvo which may have been in the area at time.

Meanwhile, a man is recovering in hospital in Dublin after he was struck by a car in the city centre last night.

The incident happened in the Clanbrassil Street area just before 10pm.
