Police appeal for witnesses to east Belfast robbery

Police in the North are appealing for witnesses to a robbery in east Belfast.

It happened at a takeaway on the Cregagh Road at 10.15pm last night.

A man carrying a knife and with his face covered entered the premises and demanded cash.

He made off with an undisclosed sum of money.

The raider is described as being between 18 and 20 years old and was wearing a black, Nike zip-up jacket and black trainers.

Police are appealing to any witnesses to the incident to come forward.
