Gardaí in Dublin have arrested a man in connection with a double murder in Dublin last year.

Mark Noonan and Glen Murphy - who were both in their early 20s - were shot dead at a petrol station at the Clearwater shopping centre in Finglas on November 23.

Both were shot in the head at close range.

During a search operation on the northside of Dublin this morning, gardaí arrested a man in his 30s as part of their investigation into the killings.

He is being detained at Finglas Garda station for questioning.
