Man seriously injured in car crash

A man is in a serious condition in hospital following a road accident in Co Galway last night.

Two men in their 20s were injured when the car they were travelling in crashed on the Loughrea Road at around 8pm.

The section of the road where the crash happened remained closed overnight.
