Man injured in Cork stabbing attack

A man is in a critical condition in hospital after being injured in an overnight knife attack in Cork.

The victim - in his 40s - was stabbed in the lower abdomen during an incident outside a house on Plunkett Road in Ballyphehane at around 2am.
