Waterford and Tipperary see nearly 150 job losses
Two companies have announced job losses in Co Tipperary and Co Waterford.
Up to 94 jobs are to go in Pall Manufacturing Ireland as it is winding down its operations in Tipperary town with the loss of 71 permanent jobs and 23 temporary positions by the end of May.
In Waterford, talks are underway between unions and management at Cappoquin Poultry about possible job losses at the plant.
The company has announced a restructuring of operations which could result in the loss of up to 50 jobs being axed.
However, there is good news for Belfast as a top UK law firm is relocating to the city creating 300 new jobs.
