Brothers charged with possession of machine gun

Two brothers have appeared before Limerick District Court charged with possession of a machine gun.

Darren Cuneen (aged 34), from Clare Street, Limerick and 19-year-old Jason Cuneen, from Hospital, Co Limerick, are accused of having a Sten Mark 3 machine gun in Drumleek, Castlebellingham, Co Louth on January 19 this year.
