Cowen to discuss election date with Greens

The Greens will meet with the Taoiseach Brian Cowen today to demand clarity on how long the Government will last for and to push for an actual date for the election.

Fianna Fáil will also begin the process of moving on with Mr Cowen at the helm and Micheál Martin taking a seat on the backbenches.
