A Cork man has failed in his appeal against his conviction for the murder of a 62-year-old retired barman over two years ago.

A Cork man has failed in his appeal against his conviction for the murder of a 62-year-old retired barman over two years ago.

Paul Murphy (aged 25), of Kilmore Road, Knocknaheeny, was jailed for life in March last year after he was found guilty of the murder of Donal Manley at his home in High Street, Cork, between October 10 and October 12, 2008.
