33-year-old man dies after Kildare road accident

A 33-year-old man has died after he was knocked down in Co Kildare.

The pedestrian was struck by a car on the outskirts of Castledermott at 10.20pm last night.

He was rushed to Naas General Hospital where he later died.

The roads remains closed for a technical examination.
