Insurance firm creates handful of new jobs

Seven new jobs are being created in Dublin with the expansion of an international insurance company.

Ironshore provides broker-sourced insurance on a global basis through its platforms in the UK, the States, Canada and Bermuda.

Ironshore Europe Limited will now be set up in Dawson Street in the city centre.

The company was granted a Certificate of Authorisation from the Central Bank last month and operations will take effect immediately.
