Gardaí in Galway are appealing for witnesses after a house with a young family inside was set on fire last night.

Gardaí in Galway are appealing for witnesses after a house with a young family inside was set on fire last night.

The suspected arson attack took place at a housing estate at Cluain Ard in Ballybane at around midnight.

One woman was forced to jump from an upstairs window after she was trapped inside.
