Man dies in Meath house fire

Investigations are continuing into a house fire in Co Meath last night that claimed the life of a man.

The 50-year-old died in the blaze in Clonee.

He was in the house on his own at the time. Gardaí are not treating the fire as suspicious.

In a separate incident, a 50-year-old woman died yesterday in a house fire in Cardonagh in Co Donegal.
