Monaghan crash: Mother and unborn daughter to be buried today
The funerals take place today of two of the victims of Monday's crash in Co Monaghan.
RoisÃn Connolly, her unborn child, and 27-year-olds Paul Carroll and Glen Curtis were all killed in the three-car collision on the N2 near Carrickmacross.
Thirty-nine-year-old Ms Connolly, a native of Donegal but living in Dublin, was the front-seat passenger in a car being driven by her husband on Monday afternoon when they crashed head-on into a BMW.
She died along with her unborn daughter Catherine.
Four men were travelling in the BMW. Two of them, close friends Paul Carroll of Kingscourt, Co Cavan and Glen Curtis of Nobber, Co Meath, were killed and the other two were injured, one seriously.
Glen Curtis was buried yesterday while Paul Carroll, also 27, will be buried today after 11am Mass at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Kingscourt.
RoisÃn Connolly and Catherine will be laid to rest after 1pm Mass in St Mary's Church, Fanavolty, Fanad, Co Donegal.
