Post mortems underway on Grand Canal bodies

Post mortems are underway on the body of a man and a woman found by the Grand Canal in Dublin yesterday.

The bodies were spotted by a passer by at Suir Road in Inchicore.

It is understood one of the bodies was in the canal, while the second was nearby on the canal bank.

The post mortems are taking place at the city morgue in Marino in Dublin.
