Man critically ill after Newry crash

Police in the North are appealing for information on an accident which has left a man critically ill.

The single-vehicle collision happened on the Old Dublin Road in Newry, Co Down, yesterday afternoon at around 3.30pm and involved a Nissan Terrano jeep.

A 62-year-old man was taken to hospital.

His condition is described as stable but critical.
