Two Derry men pleaded guilty to the attempted robbery of a cash delivery in Dublin's north city last June at the Special Criminal Court today.

Two Derry men pleaded guilty to the attempted robbery of a cash delivery in Dublin's north city last June at the Special Criminal Court today.

Charles Anthony Deery (aged 41), a native of Derry with an address at Aughrim St, Dublin and Dermot Mc Fadden (aged 38), of Kildrum Gardens, Creggan, Derry pleaded guilty to the stealing cash from Alan Mc Grath at Prussia St, Dublin on June 8th last.

Today, the court remanded both men in custody for sentencing in February. The two men were arrested after a cash box was stolen from a security guard making a cash delivery at Prussia St.

The cash box was recovered and no money was stolen during the attempted robbery.
