Cowen apologises for home care failures

Taoiseach Brian Cowen has apologised to four people featured in a TV programme last night that showed disturbing abuse in their homes by private carers.

Dozens of calls have been made to a HSE helpline in the wake of the Prime Time Investigates documentary.
