Low reservoir levels disrupt Fingal water supplies

Fingal County Council is advising residents of ongoing disruption to water supplies.

The night-time switch-off is continuing on a rota basis from 7pm to 7am across the county.

But low reservoir levels at Malahide and Sillogue are causing additional reductions in pressure and supply.

A power failure in the Howth area, which affected reservoir pumps, has caused a problem and consumers may experience low pressure or no water today.

It is hoped the supply should be restored by this evening.
