Inquest starts into Gerry Ryan's death

The inquest into the death of broadcaster Gerry Ryan has just got underway.

The RTE presenter was found dead in his apartment on Leeson Street in Dublin last April.

His wife Maura Ryan has told Dublin City Coroner's Court that she identified his body at the city morgue on May 1 last, which was the day after his death.
