Weather impacting water supplies in Dublin and the South

The weather is continuing to impact water supplies with parts of the South and all four Dublin local authorities facing shortages.

Cork County Council says the water situation remains critical throughout west Cork and their counterparts in Kerry are appealing to householders not to store extra water or run taps.

The overnight water restriction in Dublin ended at 7am this morning but councils are planning to cut the overnight supply for at least the next two nights.
