Dublin City Council voted last night in favour of Dublin twinning with Beijing.

The Lord Mayor of Dublin Gerry Breen says the move will open up new business opportunities for Dublin.

Beijing has a population of 22 million people.

Gerry Breen says that Cork's twinning with Shanghai has made it one of the top 10 cities in the world for Chinese people to visit.
