Revenue brings in more than €13m in tax settlements

The latest tax defaulters lists shows that two settlements in excess of €1m have been made with the Revenue Commissioners.

The latest tax defaulters lists shows that two settlements in excess of €1m have been made with the Revenue Commissioners.

During the three months to the end of September last a total of 72 settlements were made amounting to more than €13m.

The largest single settlement was made by company director Robert Galbraith of Kate's Cottage in Curracloe, Co Wexford, who made a settlement of more than €1.8m.

A grocer - James Geoghegan, of 2 John Street in Pimlico, Dublin 8 - made a settlement of more than €1.5m with the commissioners.
