Hanafin: Alternatives needed if travel tax can be scrapped

Tourism Minister Mary Hanafin said today that the €10 air travel tax can only be scrapped if the money it generates is found elsewhere.

It was understood that the tax would raise around €80m to €90m this year, less than the €125m forecast.
